Wide range of classes: Current Events, Book Group, History, Technology, French culture, Cooking – Every Day Gourmet, Basket Making, Games, Mahjong, Appalachian Lore, and so much more.
Lunch & Learn:
One day class or day trip offered in the months that classes are not held
January, February, May, June
Exercise:
Pilates/Foundations – Monday @ 9:00AM
Tai Chi – Tuesday – 10:00AM
Wednesday – 10:00AM
Water Aerobics with United Way – Greenbrier State Forest pool – summer months
Transportation: Volunteer drivers take home bound recipients to local medical appointments, grocery shopping, prescription pick-up, etc.
Handy Helper: Volunteer helpers aid recipients in making their homes safer for them. We have constructed wheel chair ramps, installed grab bars, changed light fixtures, light bulbs, smoke detector batteries, etc.
